2 Week Plants-Only Pledge

*This pledge is designed to help you commit to a plant-based, vegan diet for the next 2 weeks.  Once the 2 weeks is complete, feel free to pledge for 30 days and go from there.  (Wondering what to eat?  Here's some meal ideas for breakfasts, lunches and dinners: 2 Week Challenge Menu)  I'm convinced that if you can go just two weeks without dairy, meat, eggs or any derivative of them, you'll be on your way to a much healthier, happier, more peaceful lifestyle.

2 Week Plants-Only Pledge

I,                                                                              , commit to eating a vegan, plant-based diet for the next two weeks beginning on this               day of                             in the year            .

I vow to refrain from consuming anything derived from an animal, whether it be eggs, meat, cheese or butter.  I pledge to eat less processed foods, to become more aware of what I put in my body and to read the ingredients and labels on any and all food packages I come into contact with.  I am willing to have an open mind and heart and allow new, healthier foods to enter my kitchen and my body.
I know that I will feel better, look better and probably act better because of my choice to eat vegan for the next two weeks.  I will try my very best to create healthier habits for myself and my family.
I will not make others feel badly for their non-vegan food choices, and if given the opportunity, will gently inform them of why I chose to eat a plant-based diet.

I know that by agreeing to all of the above, I am contributing to a greater cause.

I know that I will be:
-adding years on my lifespan through the consumption of more nutritious foods, including life-giving plants
-saving thousands of factory farmed animals from being abused and slaughtered
-aiding in healing our environment, our Earth
